The spread on the handles is easy to use with one hand and the blades will accommodate large dog nails. The blade cover stays attached and conveniently catches the nails as they are cut.
At the bottom of the front handle is a grinder that will smooth out the rough cut spots. This makes a slight hum so you may need to desensitize your dog if you want to use this feature.

The light really helps when trying to clip fidgety little nails. On lighter colored nails you can quickly see where the quick is. And the grinder works well to sand the nail smooth so it doesn’t catch.
